DoodleSprout legal

Privacy Policy

Effective August 18, 2026

This policy explains how DoodleSprout handles information when you use our community and storefront. It applies to the DoodleSprout website and any future DoodleSprout mobile apps that link to this page.

What we collect

We collect the information you provide to create and use a DoodleSprout account, such as your name, email address, profile image, creator profile details, artwork, captions, comments, direct messages, commission requests, and any sale or fulfillment details you choose to add.

We also collect activity needed to operate the community, including follows, likes, reshares, saves, notification preferences, reports, blocks, and account settings. When analytics is enabled, PostHog may collect usage events, pages viewed, cookie or local-storage identifiers, and campaign parameters so we can understand how the site is used and measure checkout attribution.

How we use information

DoodleSprout uses this information to provide accounts, publish and display artwork according to the visibility you choose, enable community interactions and creator tools, process safety reports, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve the service.

Artwork, creator profiles, comments, social posts, stories, and other material you mark public may be visible to other visitors. Content limited to followers is available only to eligible followers, subject to safety controls such as blocks.

Payments and service providers

Artwork purchases and optional Artwork Boost checkout are handled through MadeThis-hosted checkout. DoodleSprout does not collect or store payment-card numbers in this application. MadeThis processes the checkout information needed to complete the purchase or boost.

We use infrastructure and service providers to host the application, store uploaded content, authenticate accounts, deliver password-reset emails, and, when configured, measure product usage. We share information with those providers only as needed to operate DoodleSprout, comply with law, protect people and the service, or complete a transaction you request.

Safety and moderation

Registered users can report creators, artwork, comments, stories, social posts, and eligible messages. Report records include the reporter, the item reported, a category, optional details, and review status. Users can also block another creator; blocking removes mutual follows and prevents access as enforced by the service.

We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content and account information when necessary to investigate reports, enforce community rules, prevent fraud or abuse, or meet legal obligations.

Retention and your choices

We keep information for as long as it is needed to operate DoodleSprout, complete transactions, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or meet legal obligations. You can update profile information, artwork visibility, and other available settings from your account.

Authenticated users can submit an account-deletion request from Settings or by signing in on our public Account Deletion page. We record the request, verify account ownership, show its review status in the app, and handle it manually; submitting a request does not immediately erase account data. We may retain purchases, receipts, safety reports, and information needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or platform obligations.

Children and policy updates

DoodleSprout is not directed to children. We will set and enforce an appropriate store age rating before native release, including any required controls for mature creator content.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date.

Questions about this policy

A public support contact will be published before native-store submission. In the meantime, account holders can manage their profile and privacy defaults in Settings.
